Really really enjoyed the Chanel behind-the-scene documentary recommended by The Clothes Project: Loïc Prigent’s documentary Signé Chanel.
It was so thrilling to see the realisation of a Haute Couture collection. The rush, hard work, anxiety, elation (and collective relief) from having completed the task- one masterpiece at a time. what a bummer

The random flea market I talked about in an earlier post has been postponed. The guys who’re working on this (and who by the way have been working really hard to make it happen) will inform us once details have been firmed up. Sorry for getting everyone so excited for nothing. We were away most parts of last week and are we glad to be back! Went on a buying frenzy this time and ordered lots of fall/winter-ish items that are absolutely wearable in our weather (especially freezing air-conditioned offices and lecture halls). These should come in time for our October collection.

So my friend and I were going through some of the new clothes we brought in for SL. We were looking through the collection and discussing different ways we would wear the pieces. 
Then there was this printed bell-shaped tunic-dress. I said I would simply strap a belt over my hips, wear it low-slung and pair the dress with sandals or flip flops: A really at-ease [...]
