possibly the best local magazine right now. great reads, nice photography and really refreshing layout. what a dramatic makeover for female magazine! we’ll always have a fond love for style magazine’s beautiful photography, editor Daniel Goh’s writing and resident stylist Sharon T’s taste. But this time round, female has gone and done something quite different. it’s heartening to see a local fashion magazine that doesn’t copy wholesale from foreign mags (being inspired is a different story altogether, was quite intrigued by the inspiration behind the i-pod design that WL pointed out to me). with already a great photography/styling scene here, all we need now are more magazines like this to bravely stride between innovating and winning advertisers’ hearts.

ack! i have come to realise that i misread your post. very silly, many apologies. haha. i skipped the word “style” in front of “magazine”. and somehow, my eyes moved too fast, thus intrepreted it as saying that daniel and sharon write for female. >_<
however, i must say, having religiously read both female (old and new) and style:, i still prefer style:, no offence.
