Hi cl, find your way to Arab Street – Haji Lane is just next to it (parallel). I’ll try to get a map or something and post it up soon! It’s walking distance from Bugis mrt station, towards direction of Raffles Hospital. It’s worth the effort- many great shops here!

hello, what time do the rest of the shops at Haji lane close on weekdays? Was thinking of visiting after work but afraid most shops would be closed… Dropped by on Sunday and most of the shops were closed as well.. what about public holidays?

hey sarah, you can catch most of the shops between 2pm-8pm on weekdays. On sundays, most of the ladieswear boutiques are open by 2pm (for now shops that cater to guys are closed on sun). Public holiday hours differ from shop to shop though so be sure to check with your favourite stores!

Hey Jamie, best to stick to suits for your interview. Expand sartorial range only after you get the job. For now, go for great smart suits. I’ve seen some nice ones at Zara. Try also local designers Nicholos and Baylene at Stamford House. Good luck with your job search!
